JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Resident Experience Coordinator will be working across brand new luxury Build To Rent apartments, Haiku South Yarra and Haiku The Gladstone, South Melbourne, with set days on each site. The Resident Experience Coordinator will focus on driving resident engagement and enhancing living experience through community events and activations, feedback, referrals, identification and delivery of service improvement opportunities.

This is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work evenings or weekends where required for resident events and activations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bringing the Haiku Experience to Life

  • Plan and deliver engaging resident events and activations

  • Create community initiatives aligned with leasing and renewal periods

  • Manage the Haiku Perks rewards program and build partnerships with local businesses

  • Support referral campaigns and community storytelling initiatives

Being the Face of the Community

  • Maintain a strong and visible onsite presence across shared spaces

  • Build genuine relationships with residents

  • Support day to day resident enquiries with professionalism and warmth

  • Assist with onboarding to ensure a seamless move in experience

Driving Satisfaction and Reputation

  • Monitor and grow Google Reviews and online reputation

  • Manage resident surveys, feedback and complaints

  • Identify recurring themes and partner with Operations to implement improvements

  • Track engagement, participation and return on investment of events and programs

Leveraging Systems and Insights

  • Manage CRM communications, event registrations and survey platforms

  • Maintain accurate reporting on engagement and resident sentiment

  • Provide insights that enhance retention and strengthen community culture

About you:

You thrive on curating experiences, building authentic relationships and creating a sense of belonging that extends beyond four walls.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Experience in events, hospitality, customer experience or community focused roles

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for resident engagement

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

  • Ability to analyse feedback and translate insights into action

  • Experience managing suppliers, budgets or digital systems such as CRM or survey platforms

  • Confidence representing a brand in a professional and authentic way

  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required

  • A valid driver’s licence and the ability to obtain required background checks (National Criminal History and Working with Children)
