JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

As the Wellbeing & Events Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in shaping an exceptional student living experience by designing and delivering a dynamic calendar of social, educational, and wellness events. Your programs will celebrate the diversity of our resident community, fostering connection, engagement, and personal wellbeing.

In this role, you'll actively build partnerships with local businesses and community groups, creating opportunities that enrich resident life and extend their experience beyond the property. Working closely with the Community and Leasing teams, you'll ensure each event aligns with our brand, marketing strategies, and leasing goals -ultimately driving resident satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

Based at our newest student accommodation sites in Sydney, you’ll be at the forefront of building a vibrant, connected, and inclusive residential community that offers students more than just a place to live – it offers a place to thrive.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Design and deliver engaging, high-quality events and programs that reflect resident interests and needs.
  • Source supplies, secure partnerships, and drive community engagement by working closely with vendors, contractors, and local businesses.
  • Oversee all event logistics, including planning, budgeting, bookings, supplier coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Align events with marketing and leasing objectives through regular collaboration with internal teams.
  • Capture event content and share across marketing channels in line with brand standards.
  • Track and report on event performance, resident feedback, and budget outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with policies, insurance requirements, and WHS regulations during event planning and execution.
  • Drive local awareness and brand visibility through outreach marketing and community initiatives.
  • Support leasing and retention goals by promoting resident renewals and referral programs.
  • Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, consistently embodying company values.

You’re an energetic and detail-oriented professional with proven experience in event coordination, hospitality, or community engagement. With exceptional organizational and time management skills, you thrive in dynamic environments where juggling multiple projects is the norm. Your communication style is confident and approachable, allowing you to engage diverse audiences and build meaningful partnerships. Creative by nature, you're passionate about delivering inclusive, high-impact resident experiences. You bring strong administrative discipline, with a keen eye for detail across reporting and compliance tasks. Tech-savvy and adaptable, you're proficient in Microsoft Office, and ideally comfortable with CRM systems, event platforms, or property management tools like StarRez. You approach every challenge with flexibility and enthusiasm, including supporting events during evenings or weekends when needed.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be eligible for a National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours and weekends, to support event delivery.
