Your role

As HR Manager – Chile, you will have end-to-end ownership of all HR subsystems across the complete employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining operational execution with strategic HR partnership.
You will act as a trusted HR Business Partner to local leaders, supporting organizational growth, talent decisions, and change initiatives, while ensuring alignment with Greystar’s regional and global HR frameworks.

This role is exclusively focused on Chile.

Key responsibilities
• Oversee and actively manage all HR subsystems across the full employee lifecycle, including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Training & Development, Organizational Development, Change Management, HR Systems (HCM), and Labor Relations.
• Lead Strategic Talent Management processes, including Talent Reviews, high‑potential identification, potential assessments, succession planning, and organizational talent risk evaluation, ensuring leadership continuity and workforce readiness.
• Partner with business leaders to identify critical roles, assess organizational capabilities, evaluate talent risks, and develop short- and long‑term succession plans aligned with business strategy.
• Act as a trusted HR Business Partner for local leadership, supporting decision‑making on workforce planning, performance, talent development, organizational design, and employee relations.
• Lead and develop a local HR team of 2 professionals, providing hands-on leadership, coaching, and operational support to ensure high-quality delivery and consistent HR standards.
• Ensure full compliance with Chilean labor legislation, internal policies, and Greystar’s global governance and control frameworks, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation actions.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, investigations, organizational changes, and complex people scenarios, providing guidance grounded in best practices and local regulation.
• Partner closely with regional and global HR teams to deploy corporate initiatives, standardize processes, and continuously improve HR practices.
• Drive change management initiatives related to organizational growth, transformation, and people-related projects.
• Leverage HR systems, dashboards, and people analytics to generate insights on talent, engagement, performance, and risk, supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Promote Greystar’s culture and values through engagement initiatives, leadership development, employer branding, and inclusion efforts.

What we’re looking for
• 3–5 years of experience leading HR teams, preferably in fast-paced, growing, or multinational organizations.
• Proven experience managing multiple HR subsystems and the complete employee lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on profile, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
• Solid knowledge of Chilean labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Advanced English is required (daily interaction with corporate and regional teams).
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
