JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Talent Development Partner designs, develops and implements learning and development strategies, initiatives and programmes that drive high performance, support the development and retention of key talent and enable achievement of the Company’s business goals.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Provides input into the overall Talent Development strategy and takes accountability of resulting goals and plans.
  • Designs, develops and delivers measurably effective and sustainable learning solutions and programmes for leadership, management, technical skill and professional development.
  • Manages the design, delivery and measurement of functional, management and leadership curriculums that span the employee lifecycle and uses online; offline; blended; micro; formal and informal learning solutions.
  • Uses expert facilitation and training delivery skills to deliver impactful learning events, both in-person and virtually, across global time zones.
  • Manages end-to-end responsibilities related to the execution, delivery, follow-up and measurement of learning programmes and events, using tech solutions where possible.
  • Ensures DEI practices are embedded in professional development and talent development programmes, practices and processes.
  • Collaborates with the People and Culture Team to develop appropriate learning solutions to target people-related concerns. e.g. recruitment, retention, employee relations, engagement etc.
  • Creates and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, key business stakeholders and cross-functional work teams at all levels to support the advancement of talent development plans, initiatives and practices.
  • Creates engaging and persuasive business cases, project plans and regular communications and updates to provide transparency and create trust with key stakeholders.
  • Works collaboratively and uses consulting expertise to partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse root causes and translate into fully rounded ideas and plans which support the achievement of business targets.
  • Analyses data and metrics to identify trends and patterns that uncover skill / proficiency levels and gaps, makes data-driven recommendations for continuous development solutions to support business growth.
  • Works in partnership with third party providers to track and optimise the performance and efficacy of the initiative they are retained to support.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends, concepts, technology and techniques for delivering high quality, interactive learning experiences to diverse audiences.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or of graduate calibre by experience.
  • CIPD L&D or equivalent qualification.
  • Certification and experience with psychometric tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Power Platform etc.
  • Working knowledge of LMS and LX platform management.
  • Skilful in managing and navigating change with new and existing programmes/initiatives.
  • Project management capability and methodical, organised approach.
  • Required to be fluent in English, additional fluency in French, Spanish or German would be an advantage.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global business environment.

Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrable success achieved in previous Talent Development / L&D roles. Particularly designing, developing, delivering and evaluating impactful learning solutions and programmes.
  • Expertise in using different learning modalities with diverse audiences at all levels of the organisation.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate with impact and influence.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at different organisational levels.
  • Exhibits high emotional intelligence including personal leadership, self-awareness, adaptability, resilience and consensus building.
  • Shows a passion for customer service, is responsive and professional in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial and financial awareness with sound judgement and robust decision making.
  • Able to prioritise and organise workload, manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. Copes effectively with working under pressure to meet tight deadlines as they occur.
