JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
Support development directors on active projects through financial analysis, due diligence, and market research.
Assist in underwriting and evaluating new development opportunities, including preparation of investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal review.
Analyze project budgets, schedules, and pro formas to support decision-making throughout the development process.
Participate in design coordination and entitlement efforts, interfacing with architects, consultants, and local agencies.
Collaborate with construction management, investment, and operations teams to ensure alignment across project stages.
Prepare materials for senior management and investment committee meetings.
Conduct research on local market dynamics, construction costs, and capital trends to inform development strategy.
Qualifications
Current MBA student (Class of 2027) with a focus in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, or Construction Management.
3–5+ years of prior professional experience in real estate development, project management, construction, or related fields.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with development modeling preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative, proactive, and intellectually curious team player.
Learning Outcomes
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle, including acquisition, entitlement, design, construction, and lease-up.
Gain experience analyzing and structuring real estate development projects from both a financial and operational perspective.
Build technical skills in financial modeling, project budgeting, and market evaluation.
Deepen understanding of how Greystar integrates development, investment, and operations to create long-term value.

Salary Range: $3,500.00-4,500.00/bi-weekly

Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
