JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the organization’s software and systems data conversion activities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assists with takeovers and transitions for newly acquired properties, management retentions, and internal software conversions by completing the property management system (Yardi Voyager, Realpage OneSite, or Entrata Core) setup, data conversions, and the setup and configuration of vendor interfaces.
  • Analyzes data provided from the Prior Management Company/Greystar Operations teams to accurately set up the company’s software systems.
  • Performs testing and analysis of systems to determine property management software functional specifications, settings, design and system processes.
  • Identifies problems and solutions in the software as well as policy issues across the modules and products of the company’s property management system platforms.

Other Responsibilities:

  • May complete various financial, administrative, or other reports and analyses.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Organizational Responsibilities:

  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
  • Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.

Physical Demands:

  • Incumbents must be able to view computer screens and other electronic equipment, paper reports, and journals for extended periods of time where visual strain may result.
  • Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training classes, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all the daily responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to prepare and explain data to team members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata), and other computer applications and software used by the Company sufficient to maintain, troubleshoot, provide instructions, and install as needed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in applying and using information systems to analyze and transform data.
  • Project management skills to create project plans, track and monitor progress, meet production and delivery deadlines, and oversee project implementation across multiple properties or geographic areas highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in property or residential community operations sufficient to understand the processes, procedures, and daily workflow relative to the use of computer applications and property management systems.
  • College degree in information systems, education/training in a related field, and/or equivalent experience is highly preferred.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
