JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with strong leadership qualities and hands-on experience in building scalable web applications from the ground up. You will be instrumental in translating complex Excel-based business logic into streamlined, automated web solutions using modern front-end technologies like TypeScript and Next.js or React. This is a unique opportunity to establish a solid technical foundation, hire and mentor a team, and influence the direction of our technology stack.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Lead front-end architecture and implementation for translating complicated business logic into robust web applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality TypeScript code with frameworks such as Next.js or pure React.
  • Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
  • Build and mentor a front-end development team from scratch, establishing best practices and culture.
  • Ensure high performance, maintainability, and scalability of the front-end codebase.
  • Participate actively in the planning, estimation, and delivery of features.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of front-end development experience, with extensive exposure to TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in React or Next.js, including state management and component-based architecture.
  • Proven experience developing rich client-side applications, including handling complex, real-time business logic.
  • Prior startup experience or experience in comparable environments.
  • Experience leading technical teams, mentoring junior developers, and setting up coding standards.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working closely with backend APIs and familiarity with backend technologies.
  • Exposure to deployment pipelines and cloud-based environments (Azure).

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
